infoSync : Siemens S55 exposed
Came across this phone while browsing at myPDAcafe ...
Siemens S55 ... Cool looking phone if you asked me. I have been a Siemens mobile phone user since 1998, at thet time the S6 PCN Power, later bought the S25 for a color display and IR to use with my TRGpro. And now using the S45. and I had no problems with all three models. I was also wondering when Siemens would come out with a phone sporting a color display ... wonder no more, the S55 comes with a 256 coloe display. It has bluetooth built-in as well. just what I wanted in a phone .... and...and... and... polyphonic ringtones. (YESSS!!!) More details of the phone here. From the myPDAcafe forum there were also pictures of add-on camera and bluetooth headset. It looks like Siemens is mimicking Sony Ericsson T68i model. I would get the bluetooth headset if it were cheaper. Currently it costs about RM 700.00 for a set (Ericsson/Nokia brand name). When I get this phone (ahem!! notice the expression "when I get this phone" and not "if I get this phone"), this S55, I'll be seriously thinking of getting the bluetooth headset.
