Sprint Officially Offers Camera-less Treo 600

Sprint, a main player in US cellphone operator, announced the availability of a non-camera version of the Sprint PCS Vision Treo 600 by palmOne.
A good move here I think, introducing models sans camera. I know a few friends who bought a top of the line mobile phone with built in camera, but was not allowed to take them to their workplace. Their employer was concerned about information (pictures) leaking out to competitors. Also, there's a lot of stories where people with camera phones are not allowed into public pools, and changing room, unless they leave their devices at the secutiry desk. Well, look at it this way ... the images of American "having fun" Iraqi prisoners could very well be captured from a camera phone. (They actually were, if I recall listening the news correctly)
"Hey... I'm not going to leave my RM2700 PDA/phone to anyone, my whole life is in there." I am assuming that's the response you'll get when ou ask someone to leave their treo600 (or any other PDA/Phone/Camera combination) at the security counter.
Agian, I say, a good move to introduce this one ... one more alternative to the consumers, end users.
