Siemens MC60
I am still waiting for Siemens to announce the availability of the SX-1 .... why the delay???
Anyways,Infosync reported a launch of a new Siemens mobile, the MC60, expected to hit the shelves in September. It did not say in the report that this new model is using the SymbianOS (like the one that's going to be on the SX-1), so I presume this MC60 will use Siemens proprietary OS.
The specs for this device looks good , 12bit color dispaly, Triband, GPRS, SMS, EMS, MMS, and a built-in 0.1 megapix camera (which translates to res:352x288). But it says nothing about bluetooth .... dissappointing!
The 0.1Megapix camera comes to quite a surprise to me since the Add-On camera for the S55 and SL55 handles VGA. Well, I think Siemens is just filling in the blanks (the market that is) while waiting for the SX- flagship to arrive.
My personal view ... This is an S55 upgrade to have a phone with built in camera.
