After looking at the new Clies, I am beginning to like the "Landscape Clamshell" design. I suppose, since it has less height when held in your palm, it would be more comfortable and stable handling the device. I played around with the NX70V before and I find that because of the weight of the screen, handling the thumbboard is a little wobbly (is there such a word?).

One thing I find that Sony has not improved on is the stylus. From the pix, you can still see the thin, skinny stylus.

Sony's claim on available memory is a little confusing.

From what I understand, only 16MB is available for the user. The rest of the memory space is "reserved" by the operating system to handle specific tasks. I would presume the 16MB non-volatile memory as Flash ROM for the system to automatically backup thr 16MB User's RAM. Another 29MB is for Media file storage only (Audio/Video files)

Why not just say 16MB available RAM and 29MB Media Storage ... easier to grasp the idea I think. Palm Tungsten|C has 64MB RAM and it claims just that (in fact 64MB is more than Sony's 16MB+29MB claim).

But, it would be more impressive to just quote "104MB available memory"... Marketing 101.
